Applied Nanoworks President & CEOApplied NanoWorks (ANW) was founded in 2003 with a mission to develop high value nano-oxides and nano-phosphors that could be made using novel and scalable manufacturing technologies licensed from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

While investigating promising process improvements in the core nano-oxide processes, ANW's R&D team discovered the technology for our Molecule Control Platform a far more powerful and highly flexible chemical manufacturing platform than our original nano-oxide materials and processes. We found 'nano' to be too big for real solutions, and moved our focus to the molecular level to produce game-changing flexible inorganics.

ANW has successfully raised nearly $5 million from venture capitalists and government research agencies for development of its materials platforms. New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NSYERDA) has been a strong supporter of ANW's on-going nano-phosphor work as well as its MCP production scale up efforts.

ANW believes that operational philosophies are every bit as important as its core technology.
