GDP-32II多功能電法工作站是一個(gè)萬(wàn)用的、多通道的設(shè)備，可采集處理任何類(lèi)型的電磁或電場(chǎng)數(shù)據(jù)，具有多功能、大功率、高度計(jì)算機(jī)化、高精度和強(qiáng)抗干擾能力等特點(diǎn)。系統(tǒng)配備有豐富的數(shù)據(jù)處理軟件系統(tǒng)，CSAMT反演解釋軟件具有地形校正推斷解釋結(jié)果的功能，其二維反演軟件具有世界領(lǐng)先水平，很好地將測(cè)量勘查數(shù)據(jù)轉(zhuǎn)化為圖形和計(jì)算機(jī)模型，圖形軟件包可繪制各種數(shù)據(jù)曲線圖、平剖圖、等值線圖（擬斷面圖、平面圖等）及三維立體圖等。
GDP-32II多功能電法工作站獲取不同地層的電性參數(shù)，從其差異性來(lái)判定、劃分地質(zhì)體，查明地下地層的結(jié)構(gòu)及分布情況，能較好地查明探測(cè)區(qū)深部隱伏的地質(zhì)構(gòu)造情況。主要應(yīng)用于金屬、非金屬礦產(chǎn)勘查、工程地質(zhì)（大壩、鐵路、公路等）勘查、石油和天然氣勘探、地?zé)豳Y源調(diào)查、地下水調(diào)查與監(jiān)測(cè)、煤田地質(zhì)勘查等勘查領(lǐng)域。其勘查有效深度可達(dá)2000余米。
2008年9月4-12日，陜西省地質(zhì)調(diào)查院對(duì)引進(jìn)的GDP-32II多功能電法工作站進(jìn)行了檢查驗(yàn)收，并對(duì)GDP-32II電法工作站系統(tǒng)涉及的CSAMT、TEM、NanoTEM及IP等方法進(jìn)行了的野外實(shí)際應(yīng)用測(cè)試。同時(shí)由香港賽諾技術(shù)公司對(duì)該系統(tǒng)的軟、硬件操作、解釋軟件等進(jìn)行了技術(shù)培訓(xùn)，通過(guò)培訓(xùn)相關(guān)技術(shù)人員已掌握了該系統(tǒng)的軟、硬件操作和相關(guān)地球物理數(shù)據(jù)測(cè)試、處理方法，完成了試驗(yàn)區(qū)內(nèi)各項(xiàng)電法參數(shù)測(cè)定、成圖、解釋等工作，取得了很好的試驗(yàn)成果。
